geography

The River Gillon rises with two main spring streams on the western slope of the Morne Anglais , close to the border with the Parish Saint Patrick . The northern source stream is created in Paradis ( Berlin Estate , , 1000  m ). After approx. One kilometer and a gradient of approx. 500 meters in altitude, the two main streams join, which themselves still receive numerous small tributaries. The river runs to the west and crosses the La Haut Estate in the lowlands , where it receives an even larger inflow from the Gommier Stewart Estate from the right and north and soon afterwards flows between Mardrel and Wallhouse (Gillon), about 100 m north of another, unnamed river, in the Caribbean Sea .

The springs arise in an area in which also headwaters of the Geneva River (south, in the Parish Saint Patrick ), as well as headwaters of the neighboring Canari River to the north , and Roseau River ( River Claire ).
