Life
While studying architecture at the Technical University (Berlin-) Charlottenburg , Leibnitz joined the Corps Saxonia-Berlin in the winter semester of 1882/1883 and was active together with the later architects Arthur Kickton and Friedrich Jenner . In 1893, after passing the 2nd state examination, he was appointed government builder ( assessor in public building administration). After completing his studies, Leibnitz took part in several Protestant church buildings in Berlin. In 1900 he resigned from the civil service and from then on initially worked with the architect Ludwig von Tiedemann , possibly as his employee. His collaboration with the architect Carl Gause began around 1905, and when he died he completed the construction of the Hotel Adlon in Berlin as the most prominent project .
