Robert Livingston (ice hockey player)
Robert Cambridge Livingston (born November 3, 1908 in Lawrence , New York , † April 2, 1974 in New Canaan , Connecticut ) was an American ice hockey player .
Career
Robert Livingston attended Princeton University , where he graduated in 1931. During his time at Princeton, he played parallel for their ice hockey team. He then went to the US Olympic team. After his ice hockey career , he worked as a representative for the Grace Line in Peru for twelve years . During World War II , he served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy . After the war he became a businessman.
International
For the United States , Livingston took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , where he and his team won the silver medal.
