Robert Rodat
Robert Rodat (* 1953 in New Hampshire as Robert Keene ) is an American screenwriter .
Life
Robert Rodat became known through Saving Private Ryan (1998), Pecos Bill - An Incredible Adventure in the Wild West (orig. Tall Tale ), Amy and the Wild Geese with Vince McKewin (1996) and The Patriot (2000). One of his last works dealt with a revision of the script from 10,000 BC (2008). Rodat is currently working on a script for the film WarCraft . He also participated in several episodes of Falling Skies (2011) as a screenwriter.
Rodat's script for Saving Private Ryan received several nominations: for an Oscar, the Golden Globe, the Golden Satellite Award and the WGA Award.
