Robert John Taylor OAM (born November 12, 1963 in Melbourne ) is an Australian actor .

Life

He is best known for his role in Vertical Limit , as Agent Jones in Matrix and the television series The Feds - Das Elitekommando . He also plays in the Australian horror film Rogue and has a smaller role in the video game The Matrix: Path of Neo . Robert Taylor has been on television since 1988 and is listed as a well-known actor in his homeland. He was seen in major guest roles in Satisfaction and Killing Time .

Since 2012 he has played the title role in the crime series Longmire , which initially ran on the US cable broadcaster A&E , but was later taken over by Netflix . This is his first major US television role.
