Roberto Rink

Roberto Gottfried Rink (born November 7, 1959 ) is a German politician ( DSU ).

Life

After an apprenticeship as a motor vehicle mechanic, he completed an engineering degree in Zwickau in the field of automotive technology and has been an independent haulage contractor since 1990.

Political career

His political engagement began in November 1989 when he joined the CSU of Saxony . He has been a member of the DSU since it was founded and in October 1991 became chairman of the state association of Saxony , the state association of the party with the largest number of members. Since 1993 he has been Federal Chairman of the DSU. In addition, he is deputy chairman of the citizens' movement pro Saxony . Rink has been active in local politics since 1990 as a district councilor for the Vogtland district and as a city councilor in his hometown Treuen in the Saxon Vogtland .

In the state elections in Saxony in 2014 , Rink was the top candidate of the DSU. For the 2017 federal election , Rink ran as a single applicant in the Vogtland District constituency . He received 3.1% of the first votes.
