Roderich Reifenrath
Roderich Reifenrath (born June 4, 1935 in Wissen ) is a former German journalist .
Career
education
Reifenrath put 1955 on Landerziehungsheim the Protestant Church of Rhineland in Dierdorf the baccalaureate and studied from 1955 to 1961 law , first to 1957 at the University of Cologne and then in Mainz .
job
After completing his studies, he worked for a year as a research assistant before joining the Allgemeine Zeitung Mainz in 1962 as a trainee. His further journalistic career led him to the Recklinghäuser Zeitung in 1964 , where he was involved in building up the political editorial team.
In 1966 he moved to the Frankfurter Rundschau and worked in the political editorial department from the start. In 1986 Reifenrath became a member of the editorial board and in 1992 took over the post of editor-in-chief from Werner Holzer , which he held for eight years.
He retired in June 2000.
