Rolando Bianchi (born February 15, 1983 in Albano Sant'Alessandro ( BG )) is an Italian football player , he plays in the position of a striker .

Career

In the club

Rolando Bianchi started his career at Atalanta Bergamo , where he stayed for three seasons before moving to Cagliari Calcio on loan for the 2003/04 season. However, Bianchi returned to his home club during the same season. For the 2004/05 season he moved back to Cagliari , which is now in the Serie A played. This time he was used regularly, but moved to the league competitor Reggina Calcio at the end of the season . Since he injured himself during the season, he only came on nine missions.

In the 2006/07 season , Bianchi stayed with the southern Italians and made the final breakthrough. In the first game of the season he scored three goals against US Palermo , but Palermo still won 4-3. In the course of the season he managed to secure relegation together with strike partner Nicola Amoruso , the Reggina, who started the season with eleven minus points because of their involvement in the manipulation scandal and were considered by many to be relegated. Bianchi scored 18 goals this season and finished fourth on the Törjäger list, attracting the attention of some major European clubs.

In the 2007/08 season, Rolando Bianchi moved to the English club Manchester City for around 13 million euros . He scored his first goal of the season on his Premier League debut against West Ham United , which was followed by more goals in the following weeks. After that, coach Sven-Göran Eriksson often only changed him in the final stages of the game. In January 2008 the Swede then informed that he could look for a new club.

On January 23, 2008 Bianchi moved to Lazio Rome on loan . As part of the transfer, the capital club has a purchase right for 12.5 million euros. On his debut for Lazio, however, Rolando Bianchi was sent off with a yellow-red card just five minutes after his substitution .

For the 2008/09 season Bianchi returned to Manchester City. However, only to switch back to Serie A a short time later for the transfer of around eight million euros , this time to FC Turin , where Bianchi received a five-year contract. In 2013 Bianchi moved to FC Bologna , where he scored three goals in 28 appearances. In the 2014/15 season he was loaned to Atalanta Bergamo . He moved to RCD Mallorca in August 2015 . On January 20, 2016, Bianchi moved to the Italian second division club AC Perugia .

In the national team

Rolando Bianchi completed a total of 18 international junior matches for Italy and scored eight goals. In the Italian U-21 selection , he formed a dangerous attacking duo with Raffaele Palladino . He has not yet been used in the senior national team.
