Roman Sedláček (born January 12, 1963 in Těšany ) is a former Czech football player .

Career

Roman Sedláček began his career in what was then Czechoslovakia with TJ Vítkovice. In the second half of the 1985/86 season Sedláček ran for the then second division team TJ Gottwaldov . From 1986/87 the striker played for Sigma Olmütz .

In 1991 he moved to the German first division club Hansa Rostock , for whom he played 24 games in the following season and scored four goals. At the end of the season, Hansa Rostock was relegated.

Sedláček's next stop was the then second division club FC Remscheid , for whom he played 18 games in 1992/93 , but which was also relegated after one season. Then Sedláček played for the upper division Eintracht Braunschweig and FC Neubrandenburg .

In the summer of 1994 Sedláček returned to the Czech Republic and joined the FK Jablonec. In 1995 the attacker played for Svit Zlín .

Sedláček also played for the national soccer team of Czechoslovakia . He was not taken into account for the country's contingent at the 1990 World Cup .
