Rosemarie Müller

Rosemarie Müller (born January 15, 1949 in Ludwigsburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Müller began as a commercial clerk, trained as a bank clerk and acquired a business assistant certificate. She worked as a clerk at various private banks for over ten years. She also volunteered for the German Child Protection Association.

From 1989 to 1999, Müller was chairwoman of the SPD in the Nieder-Olm local association . She also belonged to the board of the SPD in the district of Mainz-Bingen and was treasurer in the district of Rheinhessen . In November 2000 she was elected chairwoman of the SPD in the Nieder-Olm community . Müller was a member of the Nieder-Olm municipal council from 1984 to 1989, the Nieder-Olm municipal council from 1984 to 1999 and the Mainz-Bingen district council from 1994 to 1999, where she was also the managing director of the SPD parliamentary group. In 1999 she returned to the local council in Nieder-Olm. In the same year she was elected to the European Parliament , of which she was a member until 2004.
