Rudolf Jusits
Rudolf Jusits (born December 29, 1948 in Stegersbach ( Burgenland ), † June 24, 2005 in Pürbach ) was an Austrian stage and television actor and stage and television director .
life and work
Rudolf Jusits studied at the Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna . After a career at Viennese cellar theaters (" Komödianten am Börseplatz ", " Theater der Courage "), Jusits was engaged at numerous large theaters in Austria ( Burgtheater , Volkstheater , Theater in der Josefstadt ) and Germany.
For his achievements as an actor and director he was awarded the Kainz Medal Promotion Prize and the Karl Skraup Prize .
Jusits is known to a wider public primarily for directing the popular television series Mundl (episodes 14-16) and as an actor in the character "Peter Allinger" in the first episode of the television series Alpensaga . He was also seen as Florian Hüttenmoser in the film Jakob the Last .
Jusits died at the age of 56 while rehearsing Johann Nestroys Torn . He is buried in the Simmering fire hall in Vienna.
