Rune Arnold Georg "Bom-Bom" Johansson (born August 23, 1920 in Stockholm , † December 30, 1998 ibid) was a Swedish ice hockey player .
Career
Rune Johansson began his career as an ice hockey player at AIK Solna , for whose professional team he was active between 1940 and 1945 in Division 1 , the then highest Swedish league. He then played from 1945 to 1954 for his league rivals Hammarby IF . With Hammarby he won the national championship title in 1951 .
International
For Sweden Johansson took part in the Winter Olympics in St. Moritz in 1948 and in Oslo in 1952 . At the 1952 Winter Games, he and his team won the bronze medal. As the best European team, Sweden also became European champions. He was also in his country's squad for the 1953 World Cup . At the 1953 World Cup he won the gold medal with Sweden and was also European champion with his country.
