Rupert Viktor Oppenauer
Rupert Viktor Oppenauer (born February 3, 1910 in Burgstall (South Tyrol) , † 1969 ) was an Austrian chemist .
He received his doctorate from ETH Zurich in 1934 and discovered the Oppenauer oxidation of secondary alcohols to ketones, named after him .
