Russkoje Radio ( Russian Русское Радио ; German Russian radio ) is a Russian music station from Moscow , which broadcasts its programs nationwide and has the largest market share of all stations.

Russkoye Radio was founded in 1995. The station is owned by the pro-government holding Russkaja Mediagruppa , whose owners are unknown, with the exception of the largest Russian oil company, Lukoil . The Russkaja Mediagruppa includes the magazine Pingwin , the television station RUTV , the radio stations Radio RSN , Maksimum , Monte Carlo , D FM , Chit FM , the advertising agency RA Grammofon-Reklama , the website fomenko.ru and the companies Grammofon-rekords and Roskonzert .

Russkoye Radio is a music station with a mix of national music. The station is close to the government of Vladimir Putin , but is more focused on entertainment than political information.

Russkoye Radio can be received nationwide in Russia. The station is broadcast via FM . Russkoje Radio is the market leader among Russian broadcasters with the largest market share in the country (around 19%, 2003 survey). In Moscow, where the market for more stations is fiercely contested, the station has the second largest audience share with just under 13%, but is still the most important music station. Since July 2003, Russkoye Radio produced together with the Russian international broadcasters Voice of Russia the program Russkoye Meschdunarodnoje Radio ( "Russian International Radio") that the Voice of Russia will be broadcast over the frequencies and to receive so many countries of the world at least the hour.
