Sámuel Mikoviny (also Mikovini, Mikovíni or Mikoviny) (* 1686 in Szinóbánya or around 1700 in Ábelfalva ; † March 23, 1750 near Trencsén ) was a Hungarian mathematician, engineer and cartographer. In the 18th century he was one of the leading scholars of the Kingdom of Hungary and the Habsburg hereditary lands .

In 1735 he became a member of the Royal Prussian Academy of Sciences .
