The Mönkeberg sports club from 1910 e. V. is a sports club from the municipality of Mönkeberg in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein . It was founded in 1910 and offers archery , soccer , judo handball , tennis , table tennis and gymnastics .
The club is known nationwide for its handball department, whose men took part in the main round of the DHB Cup in the seasons 1994/95 , 1996/97 and 2001/02 . The greatest success was reaching the third round in 1996/97.
