The SV Sinsheim is a sports club based in Baden-Wuerttemberg . The club is known for its volleyball women who played in the 1st Bundesliga . In 2011/12 the volleyball players competed under the name Envacom Volleys Sinsheim and had to file for bankruptcy after being relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga. The footballers of SV Sinsheim play in the district class B1 in Sinsheim. Since 2011 there is also an American football team.
Volleyball (women)
After 16 years in the second division , the club was promoted to the first division in 2009 . The SV Sinsheim Volleyball Spielbetriebs GmbH was founded to handle the game operations in the first division . In the 2009/10 and 2010/11 season you could secure the league with an eleventh place. In the 2011/12 season it was only enough for twelfth place and relegation from the first division. This also involved the insolvency of the operating company and SV Sinsheim had to withdraw from the DVL's gaming operations. In 2013, SV Sinsheim qualified for the Third League South .
