Sagehorn is a district of the municipality of Oyten in the Lower Saxony district of Verden .

geography

The district is north of the core area of ​​Oyten. North flows Wümme and is the 772 ha large nature reserve Fischerhuder Wümmeniederung . The Wümme is no longer navigable here.

The A1 runs to the south and the A 27 to the west a short distance away.

The Wanne-Eickel-Hamburg railway branches off west of the old Sagehorn station into a branch via Bremen and a route primarily used by freight traffic directly to the Dreye railway bridge . A new train stop is currently under construction to the west of this junction.
