Sandjar Mohammed Ahmadi (born February 10, 1992 in Kabul ) is an Afghan football player who has been under contract with the national division VfL Lohbrügge since 2018 .

Club career

Ahmadi was born in Kabul and came to Germany with his parents and siblings in 1999. The striker subsequently played for various clubs in Hamburg. In 2009 he switched to SC Concordia Hamburg . Since summer 2011 he played for SC Vier- und Marschlande in the Oberliga Hamburg. For the 2013/14 season he moved to league competitor TuS Dassendorf . Here he was used seven times before moving to the I-League for Mumbai FC on October 31, 2013 . But already in the winter break of the same season Ahmadi moved back to TuS Dassendorf after nine games and two goals for Mumbai. For the 2014/15 season he moved back to his home club SC Vier- und Marschlande within the league. Further positions at Hamm United FC and SC Vorwärts-Wacker 04 followed . He has been under contract with VfL Lohbrügge since 2018 .

National team

In October 2011, Sandjar Ahmadi was appointed to the squad of the Afghan national team for the first time . He played his first international match on December 3, 2011 at the 2011 South Asian Cup in India. In the second group game against Sri Lanka, he scored his first two international goals.

In the end they lost 4-0 against India in the final. Two years later, India was able to return the favor with a 2-0 victory in the final and win the first international cup at the same time.
