Sandy Neilson

Sandra "Sandy" Lynn Neilson (born March 20, 1956 in Burbank ) is a former American swimmer .

At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich , she was three-time Olympic champion . She won over 100 m freestyle and with the 4 × 100 m freestyle and the 4 × 100 m individual medley relay of the USA. In 1986 she was inducted into the international swimming sport hall of fame .
