Sanyuan ( 三原 县 , Sānyuán Xiàn ) is a district that belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture -level city of Xianyang in the Chinese province of Shaanxi . In 1999 it had 388,582 inhabitants.

In the district area are the city ​​god temple of Sanyuan (三原 城隍庙, Sānyuán chénghuángmiào ), the Tang- era tomb Yongkangling (永 康 陵, Yǒngkānglíng ), and the Hongdao Academy (宏道 书院, Hóngdào shūyuàn ) from the year 1938 are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
