Sascha Grammel
Sascha Grammel (born February 19, 1974 in West Berlin ) is a German comedian , puppeteer and ventriloquist .
Life
Sascha Grammel, born as the son of a furrier and a secretary in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg and grew up in the Spandau district , joined the youth group of the Berlin Magic Circle at an early age ; at the age of 18 he became a member of the adult circle. In addition to his training as a dental technician , which he practiced until 1997, he founded the magic trio DIE ZAUdERER with Martin Sierp and Timothy Trust in 1992 , with which he received numerous awards. Grammel developed his own style, characterized by self-irony, puns and poetry, which he calls puppet comedy and which combines elements of comedy with puppetry, ventriloquism and magic .
Grammel has appeared in public since 1997. With his full-length solo program Hetz mich nicht , which was broadcast by RTL on February 5, 2011 after 11 p.m. and which achieved a higher audience rate than the DSDS broadcast on prime time that same evening , he toured Germany. In addition to the cheeky, extremely cross-eyed and badly plucked “eagle pheasant” Frederic Freiherr von Furchensumpf , the shy turtle Josie, who works as an ATM , and the slightly idiot nutritionist and (double) “ Hamburger ” Prof. Dr. Peter Hacke . In 2009 Universal Music signed Grammel and recorded his solo program in the Quatsch Comedy Club Berlin. The DVD was released in April 2010 and reached number 1 on the comedy sales charts. Grammel also appeared on the show Do you understand fun? on. On March 22, 2010 Grammel showed his solo program at the Deutsches Theater in Munich . In the same year he appeared twice in the television show Ask the Mouse, which was broadcast on Saturday evening by Erste : On May 8, 2010 with Frederic Freiherr von Furchensumpf and on October 25 with the turtle Josie .
The General-Anzeiger judged its program An evening full of highlights, a triumphal procession as an "overwhelming demonstration of exuberant talent" and the Nordhannoversche Zeitung summarized: "Happy, refreshing, self-deprecating."
From February 2013 Sascha Grammel toured Germany with his new solo program KEINE ANHUNG . The DVD / Blu-ray of the same name was recorded in the Stadthalle Wuppertal and released on June 7, 2013.
In January 2016, his third solo program I think it's funny! Premiere.
Grammel is the founder of the charity project LACHEN TUT GUTes! , with which he supports, among other things, the Red Nose Clowns initiative in hospitals .
