Schwarzenbach is a district of the municipality Burgthann in the district of Nürnberger Land in Middle Franconia ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

The village is about 2.2 kilometers east of Burgthann. State road St 2401 runs through the town center from Burgthann to Altdorf . Clockwise neighboring towns are Dörlbach , Peunting , Osterhof , Ezelsdorf , Burgthann and Westhaid . Schwarzenbach is located directly on the Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal .

history

With the community edict (1808) Schwarzenbach became a politically independent community, to which the place Osterhof belonged. On January 1, 1972, this was incorporated into Burgthann as part of the Bavarian regional reform .

Culture and sights

In the summer months it is possible to navigate the Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal with the towboat Elfriede like 150 years ago.
