The Swiss Billiards Association (SBV) ( French : Fédération Suisse de Billard FSB ) is the umbrella organization for billiards in Switzerland and is affiliated with the European umbrella organization Confédération Européenne de Billard (CEB).

history

On January 2, 1909, the Fédération Suisse des Amateurs de Billard (FSAB) was founded in Basel and Rodolphe Agassiz from Lausanne was appointed its first president.

The delegates' meeting of the FSAB decided on June 20, 1987 in Lenzburg that the name should be changed to Swiss Billiards Association (SBV) .

In cooperation with the CEB, the association has been organizing the Lausanne Billard Masters in three cushion since 2013 .
