Scred Connexion is a French hip hop group. It consists of the five rappers Fabe (Fabrice), Morad, Mokless, Haroun and Koma.
Band history
In 1994 the five rappers Fabe (Fabrice), Morad, Mokless, Haroun and Koma met the group in Barbès in the 18th arrondissement of Paris . You will quickly become a part of the Parisian rap scene. In particular, Fabe, who at that time already had a name as a rapper, began to establish the crew. Accordingly, the other members appear for the first time on his album Detournement de son… . Before they have their first release as a crew, their name comes up on the mini album Tout est calculé by Koma and a short time later on La vie de quartier . At that time they are still a trio. In 1998 they appear as a quintet on the compilation Opération Freestyle . In 2000 the single Tranchants / Partis De Rien and the mixtape Scred Selexion 99/2000 were released . Fabe, who converted to Islam , left the group that year to study theology in Québec, Canada.
In 2002, the first official album Du mal à se confier was released , which earned them first respectable successes in the French album charts at number 110. In the same year they followed up with the second mixtape Scred Selexion 2 . In 2009 the second album Ni vu, ni connu was released , which reached number 33 in the French charts.
In addition to the joint publications, a number of solo albums by the individual members were also released. Since 2014 they have been running their own internet radio with Scred Radio and opened a shop in their place of residence.
