Sebastian Linder (born June 16, 1983 in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe ) is a former German handball player . He played on the circle and on the back center .

Career

Linder started playing handball at the age of four at TSG Oberursel. Martin Schwalb discovered Linder at the age of 16 and brought him to SG Wallau / Massenheim a year later . Here he gained Bundesliga experience in the professional squad and played his first Bundesliga game in the 2001/02 season. In 2005 SG Wallau / Massenheim had to file for bankruptcy and was relegated to the regional league . Linder was the only player to remain with the club. In 2007, Carsten Bengs was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . In January 2009, Linder moved to TSV Dormagen after eight years in the SG Wallau / Massenheim jersey . Linder ended his career here in 2011. From the summer of 2014 Linder played for the district top division club MSG Kronberg / Steinbach / Glashütten and ended his career as an active player there in 2019.
