Sedat Artuç (born June 9, 1976 in Bitlis ) is a Turkish weightlifter .
Career
Sedat Artuç celebrated his greatest success at the 2004 Summer Olympics , where he won the bronze medal in the weight class up to 56 kg with 280 kg.
He also won the bronze medal at the 2003 World Championships in the category up to 56 kg with a total performance of 277.5 kg.
There are also two gold medals in 2004 and 2005 and two silver medals in 1998 and 2002, which he won at the European Championships. In 2009 the Turk was only fourth. In 2005 he was banned for two years for a doping violation .
