Self-governing body
A self-governing corporation is a corporation under public law that is granted the right to manage its own affairs independently ( self-government ).
These include in particular:
- local authorities ( local self-government );
- Universities (university self-administration);
- Professional bodies (professional self-government);
- Health insurance , pension insurance , professional associations (self-administration of social insurance institutions).
