Selita Ebanks
Selita Ebanks (born February 15, 1983 in George Town , Cayman Islands ) is a model from the Cayman Islands. She is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret , where she replaced Tyra Banks as "Angel" and worked as such from 2005 to February 2009.
Career
Ebanks was discovered by an agent in her hometown at the age of 17. As her career slowly improved, she decided to get breast implants . Ebanks has since worked for major brands such as Tommy Hilfiger , Levi's , Ralph Lauren and Abercrombie & Fitch . She has been working for Victoria's Secret since 2003.
According to Forbes Magazine , Selita Ebanks was ranked twelfth highest paid model in 2008. In 2010, she played a fallen phoenix in Kanye West's 35-minute short film "Runaway".
In 2011 she had a guest appearance on the 21st episode of the first season in the television series Hawaii Five-0 . In 2007, she starred in the tenth episode of the third season of How I Met Your Mother .
Private life
Ebanks was dating the rapper, actor and comedian Nick Cannon . On October 4, 2007, People magazine announced that the couple had ended their relationship.
