supporting documents
Sesostris IV is attested by the list of kings of Karnak , a colossal statue, a block from el-Tod and a fragment of a stele from his first year of reign from Karnak. A lintel made of Edfu and an ax blade are uncertain as to the attribution ; only the name Sesostris appears on both objects. The attribution to this ruler is based on stylistic observations.
