Sharon Hayes

Sharon Hayes (* 1970 ) is an American artist who works with the means of conceptual art , performance and video art .

life and work

Sharon Hayes took part in Trinity / La MaMa's Urban Art semester in 1991 . In 1992 she received her BA from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. In 2003 she completed a postgraduate degree at UCLA with a Master of Fine Arts .

Hayes lives and works in Los Angeles and New York City .

Awards

In 2013, Sharon Hayes received the US Alpert Award in the Arts in the Visual Arts category, endowed with $ 75,000, for her artistic work .
