Shina's College of Technology
The Shinas College of Technology is a state college in Shinas in Oman . It is one of seven technical colleges in Oman and belongs to the tertiary education sector.
The college was founded in 2005 and is supervised by the Omani Ministry of Manpower (MoMP) . The college is located on its own campus in al-Aqr, a northern suburb of Shinas. The admission requirement is the General Secondary School Certificate , which can be obtained after 12 years of attending school. One-year certificate courses, two-year diploma courses and three-year higher diploma courses in engineering, business studies and information technology are offered. You can also attend a pre-study course.
In the 2008/2009 academic year, a total of 2171 students (including 739 female students) studied at the college.
