Scalenoeder

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A scalenohedron (in ancient Greek: σκαληνός skalenos "limping, uneven, unequal") is a polyhedron bounded by congruent, unequal triangles . In nature, scalenohedra occur in the form of crystals : They are the general planar form of the ditrigonal-scalenohedral ( 3 m ) and the tetragonal-scalenohedral crystal class ( 4 2 m ).
