Slitscan

Slitscan is a recording technique used in film and photography . The film is moved past a narrow strip or slot and exposed through this. In digital image technology, this can be done by appropriate image processing. Probably the most famous film scene with this technique can be found in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey .
