Omatsone "Sone" Aluko (born February 19, 1989 in Birmingham ) is an English - Nigerian football player . His older sister Eniola is an English national soccer player.

Born in Birmingham as the son of Nigerian immigrants, Aluko made his professional debut for City on August 28, 2007 in the League Cup against Hereford United. Three days later he was awarded to the Scottish first division club FC Aberdeen until mid-January .

He made his debut for Aberdeen as a substitute for Falkirk in late October. He scored his first professional football goal on November 3 in a 2-0 win over Dundee United. After his performance in the first half of the season, the loan was extended until the end of the season.

In the 2007/08 UEFA Cup , Aluko scored one goal and prepared another in the first leg of the sixteenth-finals in a 2-2 draw against FC Bayern Munich . In the second leg, however, they had to admit defeat 1: 5. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season, Blackpool FC became the next rental station for Aluko. The "Seasiders" left Aluko after only two games, as he signed a three-year contract with FC Aberdeen on September 1, 2008.
