Sports kindergarten

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the GDR sports kindergartens were under the responsibility of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the GDR set up early on children for the competitive sports recruiting. In the Federal Republic of Germany, kindergartens with a focus on gymnastics have been set up since 1978 by the Freiburg Gymnastics Association from 1844 in order to use the available capacities all day and at the same time to recruit members early on. The Freiburg Circle , founded in 1974, offers its members an overview of sports kindergartens. In 1985, Arnd Krüger founded the sports kindergarten at the Georg-August University in Göttingen , which still exists today and is also used for research. A multitude of forms and experiences of movement in early childhood stimulate the ability to perceive and think, while “reacting off” in movement and sport increases the ability to concentrate. The varied movement experiences are promoted more through sport than through exercise , since it is also important to overcome resistance. Similar experiences are made in the forest kindergarten , but due to the greater proximity to nature, they are more dependent on the weather.
