The Spotlight Boxing GmbH was a hamburger boxing stable . Dietmar Poszwa was the managing director . Dietmar Poszwa is married to Gaby Kohl, the daughter of Klaus-Peter Kohl .
Initially just two boxers ( Dimitri Sartison and Egon Roth ) soon grew to more than 25. The stars in the team were world champion Susi Kentikian , cruiserweight Firat Arslan and heavyweight Wolodymyr Wirtschis . Otherwise, mainly young boxers were under contract at Spotlight. a. Sebastian Köber , Sebastian Zbik , Alexander Alexejew , Maurice Weber and Gennadi Golowkin .
There were contracts with Eurosport and ProSieben . ProSieben broadcast spotlight fights in the "ProSieben Fight Night" from 2007 to 2009.
After ZDF canceled its TV contract with the Universum Box Promotion in 2009 , the companies ran into financial difficulties. The former Spotlight boxers were either fired, integrated into the Universum boxing promotion, or found accommodation with the cooperation partner SES .
