The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra is a symphony orchestra based in St. Louis , Missouri , USA . It is the second oldest symphony orchestra in the USA (founded in 1880) and is one of the most famous orchestras in the USA.

The concerts will take place in the historic Powell Hall building in central Saint Louis.

From the 2018/2019 season, Stéphane Denève will be the Music Director Designate and from 2019 the musical director of the orchestra. Before that, David Robertson (2002–2018), Hans Vonk (1996–2002) and Leonard Slatkin (1979–1996) were the directors.
