Stanislaw Wycech
Stanisław Wycech (born June 27, 1902 in Sadoleś ; † January 12, 2008 in Warsaw ) was a Polish participant in the First World War . In February 1917 he became a soldier of the Polish underground organization Polska Organizacja Wojskowa (POW). Wycech worked as a courier for the organization from 1915 . In February 1917 he was assigned to the POW troops.
On the day he died, he was the last surviving Polish veteran of that war. Wycech was also the youngest survivor of the First World War on the day of his death.
