Starley Hope

Starley Hope (born October 3, 1987 in Sydney , New South Wales ), better known by her stage name Starley , is an Australian singer - songwriter . She gained fame with the song Call on Me , which made it into the top 10 of the German single charts .

biography

Starley has both Australian and Mauritian roots. The Sydney-born singer moved to London at the age of 21 to improve her songwriting skills. There she worked with many different music producers before moving back to Australia to write her own songs. There she signed a record deal with the label "Tinted Records". In addition, she received a contract with the “ Sony ” sub-label “ Epic Records ”.

Starley was first heard on Odd Mob's single Into You , which was released on April 8, 2016. They moved up to number one on the dance charts in their homeland. In July 2016, her song Call on Me was released as a single. Australian DJ Ryan Riback produced a remix for Call on Me , which was released as a single track in October 2016. On Spotify , this recorded over 60 million streams and helped the song to worldwide fame. At the end of 2016, the song reached the top 10 in the singles charts of many European countries, and reached number one in the Swedish singles charts .
