Play style

Steve Blake has played the point guard position since high school . He exudes calm in the structure of the game. He is also a good pass-giver, as the statistics show. On the offensive he is described as too soft and, as the statistics prove, is a player who passes rather than taking the throw himself. He has a good three-point throw or distance throw and is described as a solid scorer. Overall, he is considered an experienced player in his position who was never one of the top playmakers in the league and is currently considered an important supplementary player at the Lakers.
