Steven N. Latinovich (born May 23, 1947 in Welland , Ontario ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player .

Career

Steve Latinovich began his career as a hockey player in the Ontario Hockey Association , where he was active from 1963 to 1967 for the Peterborough Petes , Chatham Junior Maroons and St. Catharines Black Hawks . He then played for a year for the Dallas Black Hawks in the Central Hockey League . After the attacker took a break from ice hockey, he played for the York University team from 1970 to 1973 . After another four years in amateur hockey, Latinovich signed in 1977 with EHC Biel , with whom he immediately won the Swiss championship in the 1977/78 season. He ended his career in Biel in 1980 after three years. During his years at EHC Biel, he and his teammates Urs Lott and Robert Lindberg formed the league- wide L-line .

A graduate with a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in Toronto , Canada, Latinovich is now practicing as a lawyer in a law firm in his native town.
