Steve Miner

Steve Miner (born June 18, 1951 in Westport , Connecticut ) is an American film director .

Life

Prior to directing, Miner worked with Wes Craven and Sean S. Cunningham as a film editor on The Last House Left . Together with Cunningham, he was also involved in the film Friday the 13th in 1980 . After that, Miner directed the sequels Friday the 13th - Jason Returns and Friday the 13th Again. Other Miner films include Soul Man , Warlock , Forever Young , Halloween H20 , Lake Placid and Texas Rangers . In addition to his film work, Miner mainly works for television. So he turned on series such as Felicity , Dawson's Creek and Chicago Hope . From 2014 to 2015 he was busy with the series Chasing Life . Since 2011 he has also been shooting for Switched at Birth .

• He received the Pegasus Audience Award for his film Warlock .
