Stimorol is a confectionery manufacturer founded in 1915 by Holger Sorensen based in Vejle ( Denmark ). The company is known for its flagship product, Stimorol chewing gum .
history
The company began as a confectionery manufacturer, the chewing gum was launched on the market in 1956 and registered as a trademark in Germany. They were initially only sold in Scandinavia , but are now available across Europe . A sugar-free version was launched in 1978, and there have been different flavors since the 1990s. In 2002 the company was taken over by Cadbury-Schweppes and is now part of Mondelez .
