Stu Linder
Stewart "Stu" Bridgewater Linder (born November 8, 1931 in Geneva , Illinois , † January 12, 2006 in Ridgefield , Connecticut ) was an American film editor .
Life
Stu Linder, of his work in 1961 as an assistant editor on Misfits - The Misfits began, cut in 1966 as an independent editor feature films.
His film debut, Grand Prix , received an Oscar in 1967 in the Best Editing category . Linder received another nomination in 1989 for Rain Man .
Stu Linder married Cathy Fitzpatrick in 1981 and had one child with her. He himself died at the age of 74 from a heart attack .
