Sunny Leone (* 13. May 1981 in Sarnia , Ontario as Karenjit Kaur Vohra ) is an Indian - Canadian model , actress and former porn actress . She was best known for the title " Penthouse Pet of the Year" in 2003 and was one of the few actresses of Indian descent.

In 2011 she took part in the fifth season of Big Boss, the Indian version of Big Brother . After an offer from Mahesh Bhatt , who also visited the big boss house, Leone began an acting career in Bollywood with the film Jism 2 in 2012 and ended her career as a porn actress.

Life

Leone's father was born in Tibet and raised in New Delhi while her mother is from a small town called Nahan , Himachal Pradesh . Her family moved to California in 1996 . After graduating from high school in 1999, she began modeling and increasingly taking nude photos. Leone then appeared in magazines and on websites with pornographic content. She finally posed for Penthouse magazine in 2001 as “Pet of the Month March”; it also appeared in the Holiday 2001 edition of the Hustler . Her popularity enabled her to win the 2003 Penthouse Pet of the Year title. She mainly made softcore recordings showing both lesbian and solo erotica .

Leone signed an exclusive deal with Vivid Entertainment, where she eventually began making hardcore videos. At first Leone only shot with other actresses. In 2004 she was one of the "No More Bush Girls", various porn actresses who shaved off their pubic hair to demonstrate against the presidency of George W. Bush . Her first release on Vivid was entitled Sunny , followed in 2006 by her Virtual Vivid Girl Sunny Leone release (it was shot for four days). She was the first Vivid star to record such an interactive video. Leone became a US citizen in June 2006 .

Her next film, Sunny and Cher , was released in October 2006, the following video is called The Female Gardener and was released in January 2007. In 2007, Leone renewed her contract with Vivid Entertainment , the world leader in pornographic films . The contract stipulated that from now on she would also have to work with men. The first male lead film was called Sunny Loves Matt, starring Matt Erickson, and was released on March 2, 2008. She stars in the remake of Debbie does Dallas ... Again , the first Vivid film to be released on Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD . The film It's Sunny in Brazil followed . In the August 2008 issue of the porn magazine "Genesis" she was listed at number 13 in the "Porn's Hot 100" ranking.
