Svatopluk Čech (bassoonist)

Svatopluk Čech (* 1947 ) is a Czech bassoonist, bass guitarist and rock singer.

The son of the musician František Čech Pražský and brother of the rock musician František Ringo Čech founded the rock group Shut up with him , to which he belonged as a bass guitarist and singer. With Jiří Korn he founded the pop-rock group Rebels in 1967 . As a classical bassoonist he was a member of the Prague Symphony Orchestra . His son Svatopluk Čech is a percussionist in the Prague Symphony Orchestra.
