Tömöriin Artag
Tömöriin Artag ( Mongolian Төмөрийн Артаг ; born April 10, 1943 in Tes , Uws-Aimag ; † 1993 ) was a Mongolian wrestler .
At the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City , he won the bronze medal in freestyle wrestling in the bantamweight category. Four years later he took part in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich . There he defeated Hayri Polat from Turkey and István Kovács from Hungary , but could not repeat the success of 1968 after defeats against the later Olympic champion Lewan Tediaschwili from the Soviet Union and against Kurt Elmgren from Sweden .
