The TSV Ottobrunn is a German sports club based in the town of Ottobrunn in the Bavarian district of Munich .

Just one year after the club was founded, the team took part in the BFV's games. From 1967 the team was able to move up from the B-class to the state league. The team was able to qualify for the 1977/78 season of the DFB Cup . In the first main round , the club then met Borussia Dortmund ; who should win the game with 0: 9. In 1987 the team then rose from the regional league again.
In the 2004/05 season the club entered the district league. At the end of this season, the club finished 14th with 29 points. In the following season the team had to compete in the regional league Oberbayern Ost and only reached 14th place with this time only 28 points. So it went further down to the 2006/07 season in the district league , which the team was able to finish in 10th place. But the club also had to leave this league at the end of the following season due to the 14th and last place. For the 2008/09 season, the team entered the district class . In the end, however, was able to achieve second place with 12 points. The next season ended for the club however only in 4th place. However, this should be enough for the promotion to the next season in the district league, in which the team was able to take second place with 53 points. From the 2012/13 season the club played again in the Oberbayern Ost district league . There the team was able to achieve fourth place with 48 points in the first season. After the 2016/17 season, the club only ended up in 12th place in the table, which meant that the team had to participate in a relegation. The back and forth leg against ST Scheyern ended with an away win for Ottobrunn, which was followed by a draw at home and the class could be kept. A season later, the club rose with only 18 points from last place, but then again from. Back in the district league for the 2018/19 season , the team was barely able to save itself from further relegation with 34 points and 11th place. The club still plays in this league to this day.
Table tennis
The club currently has two women's teams and six men's teams. The first women’s team is currently playing in the Association's Oberliga Süd and the first men’s team in the Landesliga Südwest .
volleyball
The volleyball department was established in 1974. The first men's team played in the 1986-87 season in the 1. Bundesliga and reached with 16:20 points in seventh place. The starting place in the Bundesliga was taken over by SV Türk Gücü Munich from the following season . In 1988 the new association VC Ottobrunn was founded from the department .
