The Tahat ( Arabic جبل تاهات Jabal Tahat , DMG Ǧabal Tāhāt ) is the highest mountain in Algeria . Its height is traditionally given as 3,003 m. Other sources come to significantly lower values ​​between 2,908 m and 2,859 m. It is also the highest point in the Atakor volcanic field and in the entire Ahaggar Mountains .
